Measuring Tips
- Neck
- Wrap the measuring tape around the middle of your neck, over your Adam's apple, where your collar would normally rest. Keep the tape loose for comfort.
- Chest
- Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, under your armpits and over your shoulder blades. Do not puff your chest out. Stand naturally, with your arms hanging to your side in a relaxed and natural position.
- Waist
- This measurement will be different than what is considered the "waist size" on men's pants. The natural waist can be found by bending to one side, and taking note of where the natural indentation in your torso is located (usually around your belly button area). Keep the tape comfortably loose around your midsection.
- Low Hip
- Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your lower hips. This is usually about 7 - 9" below the natural waistline. Keep the tape parallel with the floor all the way around your lower hips.
- Arm Length
- Place one end of the measuring tape at the base of the center-back of your neck. Run the tape measure over your shoulder and down to your hand. Measure to your wrist bone.
