Reed's Historic TV Premier and Sport Coats
Tuesday, August 12, 2025, Reed’s welcomed 1.3 million Americans into our Historic Downtown Tupelo store as we hosted (live!), Fox & Friends, featuring some of the cool small town Main Streets in the U.S.A.
Host Steve Doocy and Tupelo Mayor Todd Jordan took a brisk walk from the “Tupelo Welcomes Fox & Friends” banner which was hanging over Main Street (right outside my office window) into our Men’s Store and then a stroll down the sidewalk across the street ending up at Tupelo Hardware, where Elvis’s mother Gladys bought Elvis, age 11, his first guitar. The rest, as they say, is music history.
As I wrote last week, I’m proud of our 120-year history as an independent, family-owned specialty department store.
But the present and our future are what really excite me!
Today I’ll highlight our Men’s Store – which can certainly stand alone as a fine men’s specialty store – in fact one of the 15 oldest in America, according to our industry magazine “MR.”
We hang over 500 suits from size 36 short to 60 long. Our prices begin at a very affordable $349 and go to our famous Hart Schaffner & Marx at $800, for $700 on sale, with custom swatch suits from $1000 to $2500.
I’m especially proud of our Summer 2025 Hart Schaffner & Marx sport coat selection. They have an incredibly soft hand, made from bamboo, a smart fashionable fit and handsome colorations. There are regularly $600 now $495 on our Summer Suit and Sport Coat Sale.
